1.Introduction and acceptance
World Ticket Market is an online marketplace where you can find and order tickets for football, basketball, tennis, Formula 1, music and other live events. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the website and any order you place through it.
By using the website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Ticket purchases are also subject to our Ticket and Event Terms and our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or place an order.
2.Who operates the website
The website is operated under the World Ticket Market brand. In these Terms, "World Ticket Market", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of the website. The operator details currently published are shown below.
- Brand
- World Ticket Market
- Website
- worldticketmarket.com
World Ticket Market acts as a marketplace and intermediary. We are not the organizer of the events listed on the website and we do not own or operate the venues where they take place.

4.Who can use the website
To create an account or place an order, you must be old enough to enter into a binding contract under the law that applies to you, and you must be able to accept these Terms.
If you order tickets for other people, including minors, you are responsible for making sure that every attendee meets the age, identity and entry conditions of the event and the venue.
5.Your account and its security
You can create an account with an email address and password, or sign in with Google. Your account gives you access to your personal details, your saved cart and your orders in My orders.
- Keep your password confidential and do not share your account with others.
- Use an email address that you check regularly, because order information is sent to it.
- Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
- You can review your details in your account and close your account at any time from Delete account.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from our own failure to protect it. We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these Terms. How we handle account information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
6.Accurate customer information
You must give us complete and correct information, including your name, email address and, where requested, attendee names and other details needed to issue or deliver the tickets.
Incorrect or incomplete details can delay delivery, prevent a ticket transfer or lead to refused entry. We are not responsible for problems caused by information you provided incorrectly, and correcting it after an order is confirmed may not be possible.
7.How the marketplace works
World Ticket Market brings together ticket offers from external ticket suppliers and presents them in one place. For a single event, you may see several offers with different ticket categories, prices and delivery methods.
We display the information we receive, process your order request and pass it to the relevant ticket supplier. The tickets themselves are issued by the organizer and supplied by the ticket supplier, not by World Ticket Market.
8.External ticket suppliers
Ticket suppliers are independent businesses. They decide which tickets they make available, confirm availability and price, and arrange the issue or transfer of the tickets for confirmed orders.
Some product-specific rules, such as delivery timing, transfer requirements and the handling of event changes, depend on the ticket supplier and the organizer. These rules are explained in our Ticket and Event Terms and, where relevant, in the information for your specific order.
9.Secondary-market tickets
Important: Tickets may come from the secondary market
Many tickets offered on the website are resale tickets obtained through the secondary market rather than sold directly by the organizer. Their price may be higher or lower than the face value printed on the ticket.
Resale of tickets is regulated differently from country to country and some organizers restrict it. More detail is provided in Primary and secondary market and Face value and resale price.
10.Event information
Event names, dates, times, venues, participants and descriptions are based on information from ticket suppliers and organizers. We take care to present it accurately, but it can change and may not always be complete.
Before you order, check the event, city, venue, date and ticket category carefully. Before you travel, check the latest official information from the organizer or venue.
11.Illustrative images and seating maps
Images, venue plans and seating maps on the website are provided to help you orient yourself. They are illustrative and may not reflect the exact layout, the exact seat position, the view from the seat or the current configuration of the venue.
The ticket category and description in your order determine what you have bought, not the image or map. See Seating maps and illustrative materials.
12.Ticket categories and seating descriptions
Tickets are offered by category, such as a stand, a block range or a seating area. Unless the offer says otherwise, a category does not guarantee a specific row, block or seat number.
Information on whether seats are together, restricted-view seating and special categories is explained in the Ticket and Event Terms.
13.Prices, currency, fees and taxes
Prices are shown in the currency of the offer. At checkout, the summary shows the ticket subtotal, any fees and the total amount for your order before you submit it.
- The price you pay may differ from the face value printed on the ticket.
- If your bank or card issuer converts the amount into another currency, it may apply its own exchange rate and charges, which are outside our control.
- Taxes are included or shown as required by the law that applies to the sale.
14.Price and availability checks
Ticket inventory changes quickly. Items in your cart are checked again against current availability and prices, and the price is recalculated at checkout. If an offer is no longer available, or its price or available quantity has changed, we tell you before you continue.
Even after you submit an order request, the ticket supplier still has to confirm that the tickets are available at that price. If it cannot, the order will not be confirmed.
15.Order request and confirmed order
Important: An order is not final when you submit it
Submitting checkout creates an order request. The order becomes a confirmed order only when the ticket supplier has confirmed the booking and we have told you that your order is confirmed.
Your order page shows the payment status and the fulfilment status separately, because payment and supplier confirmation are two different steps. You can find all your orders in My orders.
If an order request cannot be confirmed, we will tell you, and any amount you have paid for it will be handled as described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
16.Payment authorization and confirmation
When online payment is available, it is processed by the payment service provider shown at checkout. World Ticket Market does not ask you to enter card details on its own pages.
Payment, or a payment authorization, does not by itself mean the order is confirmed. Confirmation depends on the ticket supplier as described in Order request and confirmed order. The amount charged is the total shown at checkout, which is calculated by our systems, not by your browser.
17.Ticket delivery
Depending on the event, tickets may be delivered as electronic or PDF tickets, mobile tickets, tickets transferred through a club, venue or ticketing application, mobile-wallet tickets, physical tickets, hotel delivery or local collection. Not every method is available for every event.
The delivery method that applies to you is determined by the product, the ticket supplier and the organizer, and is stated in your order information. Tickets are often released close to the event date. See Ticket and Event Terms and our ticket guide.
18.Mobile tickets and third-party applications
Some tickets can only be used through an official application of a club, league, venue or ticketing platform, or through a mobile wallet. In that case you may need to install the application, create an account with the email address given in your order and accept a transfer.
These applications are operated by third parties under their own terms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability. See Club and venue application registration.
19.Compatible devices and access
You are responsible for having a compatible, working and charged device, access to the email account and any application account named in your order, and the ability to display or print the tickets as required.
Venue connectivity can be poor, so open and save your tickets before you travel where the ticket type allows it.
20.Event date and time changes
Organizers can change the date, kick-off or start time of an event, sometimes at short notice. This is common for sports fixtures, which may be rescheduled for broadcasting, competition or safety reasons.
A change of date or time does not by itself entitle you to cancel. How postponements and cancellations are handled is set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy and the Ticket and Event Terms.
21.Venue and organizer rules
Every attendee must follow the rules of the organizer and the venue, including security checks, prohibited items, behaviour, dress codes and supporter-section rules. The venue may refuse entry or remove an attendee who breaks these rules.
Entry refused because an attendee did not comply with these rules is not a fault of the ticket. See Venue rules and conduct.
22.Identity documents and age restrictions
Some organizers and venues require attendees to show a passport or other identity document, or apply minimum ages or rules for minors. Each attendee must bring the documents the event requires.
You must check these conditions before ordering. See Identity documents.
23.Ticket validity and prohibited duplication
A ticket is valid only in its original form as issued for your order. Copying, altering, sharing or duplicating a ticket or its barcode is prohibited and may cause the ticket to be cancelled or entry to be refused for everyone holding it.
Do not publish tickets or barcodes online. Where the organizer prohibits resale or transfer, you must respect that restriction. See Prohibited resale and duplication.
24.Cancellations, postponements and refunds
Whether you can cancel an order, and whether and how much you may receive back, depends on the order status, the terms of the ticket supplier and the organizer, and mandatory law. A postponed event and a cancelled event are treated differently.
The full rules are in our Cancellation and Refund Policy. Product-specific rules on postponed and cancelled events are in the Ticket and Event Terms.
25.Customer support and incident reporting
If your tickets have not arrived, your details are wrong, or a ticket does not work at the venue, contact us as soon as possible and quote your order reference. Problems reported promptly are much easier to resolve.
Please keep any evidence, such as screenshots of error messages and written statements from venue staff. Do not buy replacement tickets elsewhere without contacting us first, unless we tell you to. See If a ticket does not work.
26.Prohibited use of the website
You must not:
- use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, or to place orders with false details;
- use automated tools to collect data, place orders or monitor prices, except as allowed by a public standard such as search-engine indexing;
- try to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data, or interfere with the security or operation of the website;
- upload or send malicious code, or overload the website;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection with anyone.
We may refuse or cancel order requests, and suspend accounts, linked to prohibited use.
27.Intellectual property
The World Ticket Market name, logo, website design, text and software are protected by intellectual-property rights. Team names, competition names, artist names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify events.
You may use the website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse its content for other purposes without our prior written permission.
28.Third-party links and services
The website and your tickets may involve services we do not operate, such as Google sign-in, payment services, ticketing applications, mobile wallets and websites of organizers or venues. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content or availability of third-party services, but we will help you as far as we reasonably can where a problem affects your order.
29.Availability of the website
We aim to keep the website available and working correctly, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access. We may suspend or change parts of the website for maintenance, security or improvement.
We may change which events, ticket offers, features and delivery methods are available at any time, without affecting orders that have already been confirmed.
30.Limitation of liability
We are responsible for performing our own role, as a marketplace and intermediary, with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for the way an event is organized or held, for decisions of organizers, venues or authorities, or for the services of third parties we do not control.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for travel, accommodation and other costs connected with an event, such as flights and hotels, unless they result from our own breach of these Terms. Where we are liable for an order, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for that order, to the extent the law allows.
Information: Your rights under mandatory law
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply to you.
31.Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, decisions of public authorities, or failures of networks and systems we do not operate.
Where such an event affects an event or your order, the rights described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy and under mandatory law continue to apply.
32.Complaints and disputes
If you are unhappy with our service or an order, please contact us first and quote your order reference. We will look into the matter and try to resolve it fairly.
These Terms do not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, or of your right to bring a claim before a court or a dispute-resolution body that is competent under that law.
33.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when our services, the law or our suppliers change. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
The Terms that apply to an order are those in force when you submitted the order request. Changes apply to later use of the website and later orders.
34.Severability and general provisions
If a court or competent authority finds any provision of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
If we do not enforce a provision immediately, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later. If these Terms are available in more than one language, each version is intended to have the same meaning.
35.Contact us
For questions about these Terms or an order, use the contact details in the panel at the end of this page. If your question concerns an order, include your order reference so we can find it quickly.
